Good questions, honest answers

Is this a dating app?

No. TagAlongz is built around plans, not profiles. There's no swiping, groups have at least 3 people, and you can't message anyone until a host accepts you.

How is this different from booking a group tour?

Group tours fix the dates and route, and you meet everyone on the bus. Here your group decides the trip, you see who's coming before paying, and agencies compete on price.

Is it free?

Joining and meetups are free. For trips, you pay the agency's quoted price plus a small, upfront booking fee.

How do you verify people?

To host a plan, you must verify with your work email today, or government ID once it launches. Joiners only need a basic account, and verified joiners get a badge.

Can I message someone directly?

Only if you're on the same plan. There are no 1-to-1 messages out of nowhere. If you like someone's vibe in Find my buddy, invite them to a plan.

Do I need to verify to join a plan?

No. Sign up with your name and phone or email, then send a short note to join. As soon as the host accepts you, the group chat opens.
